By the grace of Triune God,
St Thomas Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church is a congregation of Indian Community from Kerala, who gather in for worship and prayer. Faith is that Christ is the way to know God and Holy Spirit is there to guide us. The church believes that God loves all creation and wants them to know Him.
Bible preaches that unless God builds the ‘house’ of our lives, we will labour in vain. Matthew 22:40 says, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and the greatest commandment’. To love God means respecting and honouring His commandments, in everyday life. The relationship with God should be strong, loyal, and constant, even during times of difficulties. Reverencing God is how we show our respect and loyalty towards him.
Revelation 3:12 says that He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. Our blessing is becoming part of God’s family and living with Him in His kingdom forever. It is a reward of eternal live. Now without hesitation, as Jacob mentions, in Genesis 28;16, ‘Surely the Lord is in this place’. Your life may go through unexpected storms and difficulties, such as Jacob had. You may feel distant from God or aspiring for a blessing from him. At times, blessings come in fast & unexpectedly, other times it is preceded by a prolonged wrestle. Thus, if you a have strong faith as Jacob, it can be certain that even in your wilderness ‘the Lord is in this place’.

The church community is definite that each Sunday Gathering plays a vital role in our life. Holy Mass, Sunday School and Bible studies paves way for them to know God. The community is also certain that it helps in shaping the future for the young ones.
